It's been a busy couple of months at 300Sync. Here's a rundown of everything that shipped since January, plus a preview of what's coming next.

Two-way sync is now available on all Professional and Enterprise plans

This was the most-requested feature by a wide margin. Previously, two-way sync was only available for specific integrations on Enterprise. Starting this month, every integration that supports bidirectional data flow — Clio, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Procore, AMS360, HawkSoft, and Buildium — can run two-way on Professional.

What does two-way sync actually change? On one-way sync (Starter), changes flow from your vertical tool into HubSpot. Two-way means changes in HubSpot can also flow back. Update a contact's phone number in HubSpot, and it updates in Clio. Move a deal stage in HubSpot, and the corresponding record in ServiceTitan reflects the change.

This matters most for teams where sales or marketing people are actively working in HubSpot and ops people are working in the vertical tool. One-way sync still leaves you with reconciliation work. Two-way means the systems stay in agreement automatically.

New: Sync History view

The most painful support experience we kept seeing: a customer notices a record is wrong in HubSpot and has no way to figure out why. Did the sync run? Did it fail? Did it overwrite something? When?

The new Sync History view in the dashboard shows every sync event with a timestamp, the number of records created or updated, any errors encountered, and a drill-down view of individual record changes. You can filter by integration, date range, and error status.

This isn't just useful for debugging. It's also useful for audits — if you need to verify that a contact record was updated within a specific time window, Sync History gives you the log.

Large initial sync improvements

When you connect a new integration, 300Sync runs an initial sync to pull in your existing records. For companies with large datasets — thousands of contacts, years of job history — this initial sync could previously take a long time and occasionally time out on very large accounts.

We've completely rearchitected how initial syncs work. Large syncs now run as background jobs with automatic retry on failure and progress tracking in the dashboard. The median time for an initial sync is down by around 60% across the board. For the largest accounts (100k+ records), we've moved to a chunked processing model that runs in parallel and completes in a fraction of the previous time.

Improved error messaging

Generic "sync failed" errors are not useful. We've updated error messages across all integrations to be specific: what failed, why it failed, and what you can do to fix it. Common errors like expired OAuth tokens, rate limit hits, and field type mismatches now show up with plain-English explanations and a direct link to the relevant setting.

Coming soon

A few things we're actively working on:

  • Real-time webhook-triggered sync for Jobber and ServiceTitan (currently polling at 5-minute intervals on Professional; the webhook path will cut this to under 30 seconds for supported events)
  • A field mapping editor for Advanced plan users who need to customize the default mappings for their specific workflow
  • Planning Center integration improvements: group membership now flows to HubSpot lists, not just contact properties

Thanks to everyone who submitted feedback and filed support tickets over the past few months. The sync history view and error messaging improvements came almost entirely from patterns in the support queue. Keep the feedback coming — it's the best signal we have.
